New year, bit of a new direction here at NDFY. In looking back over my posts from 2007, I’ve realized that I have the most fun and the potential to have the most impact when I’m writing about my beloved home city and the vibrant music scene we enjoy here. So tune in and expect even more coverage of Chicago shows, bands, releases, festivals, news, and music-related points of interest in 2008 - starting with Schubas’ TMK weekend, which runs from Wednesday 1/16 through Sunday 1/20. We’ve got 5 posting days left between now and then, so we’ll take a look at each night of the festival in turn between now and then. Once again, here’s the lineup:
